A NEW LOOK
In early 2018, Cutting Ball decided to update their brand, In interviews stakeholders brought up the words “thought-provoking,” “intelligent” and “innovative” as core principles of their mission. A Cutting Ball, or “cut purse” (thief) was an recurring character in Elizabethan plays, but the theater’s use of the term has evolved to describe their cutting edge approach to theater.
